The future of websites
The Association was delighted to partner with Each & Other to deliver ‘The Future of Websites’ to a packed room at their fabulous offices at the Priory, John St West, just off Thomas Street.
Dermot Walsh, CEO at Each & Other welcomed MBA members and their guests to what proved to be a very informative evening. He introduced his colleague, Brian Herron, the speaker for the evening.
Brian took his audience through a brief history of the worldwide web and introduced some of the innovations that will impact on this communication channel in the future. Brian, who originally studied journalism, is a director of Each & Other and one of its principal UX designers. In this role he guides organisations to make the right choice about their online functions:- not only on what to do but on what to do first. He leads a team that collaborates with clients on user experience and business transformation projects in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Clients include Salesforce, Google and Zurich international.
There were a number of questions from the audience throughout the talk and particularly when Brian finished that evidenced the high level of interest he generated in the topic as presented. The conversation continued over a glass of wine.
The MBA Association of Ireland would like to thank Peter Keane, a student member of the Association, who will complete his MBA journey at the Technological University Dublin (formerly DIT) in September.
Our thanks to Each&Other for hosting this event.
