“Meet The Entrepreneurs” at the GEC
The Guinness Enterprise Centre again plays host to young entrepreneurs telling their stories
We are delighted to team up with the Guinness Enterprise Centre for an inspirational evening on entrepreneurship, with a number of start-ups telling of their ideas, plans, progress and obstacles on the road to success.
The event will take place at 6.30pm on Tuesday, 23 October 2018 in the GEC.
Among the firms participating are:
By 2020 people will spend 1bn nights annually on campsites around the world. Today there is no easy way to book these campsites. Campsited.com is solving the problem, like Airbnb did for accommodation rentals and booking.com for hotels. We welcome back founder Finan O’Donoghue to tell us about progress made in the past two years.
Senoptica Technologies has developed groundbreaking technology that will help to address one of the biggest challenges facing the world today - food waste. The company is a very early stage spinout from Trinity College Dublin. We hear from co-founder and MBAAI member Brendan Rice. See senoptica.com
Volograms is on a mission to bring ‘reality capture’ closer to everyone. Its technology uses a set of videos taken from different viewpoints to create volumetric holograms, volograms, that can be enjoyed in virtual and augmented reality. Rafael Pages will tell us the story of this technology start-up. See volograms.com
The event will be rounded off with a wine reception. Members are welcome to bring a guest.
