Liam Griffin
An Irish Business and Sporting Icon

Liam Griffin is one of Ireland's leading entrepreneurs and hoteliers (the portfolio of the Griffin Group also includes the Monart Destination Spa, Ferrycarrig Hotel and Hotel Kilkenny). Combine this with managing Wexford to All-Ireland Hurling success in 1996 and his contribution to the hurling fraternity in general and you are presented with one of Ireland's leading business and sporting icons.

Monart Destination Spa is the latest edition to the Griffin Group of Hotels and in it's first year has experienced Forbes magazine rate it as one of the Worlds Top 10 Super Spas and has been Voted by Conde Nast Traveler editors to be amongst an elite group of 55 new spas. Having taken the lead on this €35 million project from the beginning Liam has completed a benchmarking exercise and has brought the best of what the international spa world has to offer to County Wexford.

Liam is also one of the country's leading motivational speakers and is well renowned in the corporate and sporting world for same. Over the past five years Liam has delivered such talks to BMW, Diageo, Bank of Ireland, the Marketing Institute of Ireland, the Sales Institute of Ireland and the annual Business of Sport conference.

In addition Liam is a regular GAA columnist with the Sunday Tribune, a contributor to Setanta Sports and a regular guest on George Hook's Newstalk 106 and Matt Cooper's Last Word radio programs.
